The Nashville VA Regional Office is located on four floors in a GSA owned building located in downtown Nashville. The Regional Office has jurisdiction for the entire state of Tennessee, and has 248 employees who administer benefits to approximately 543,205 veterans and their beneficiaries. Regional Office employees are located in several outbased locations at VA Medical Centers in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Mountain Home, and Memphis. In addition, we have an outbased Claims Processing Team located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, VA Office, Knoxville, Tennessee, VA Office, Clarksville, Tennessee, and VA Office, Memphis, Tennessee.

The Nashville VA Regional Office provides a full range of VA benefits and services to veterans and their dependents. Outreach activities and information dissemination to civics and professional organizations, County Service Officers, Nashville Stand Down (Homeless Veterans), and other government agencies conducted by the Regional Office staff on an on-going basis. The Veterans Service Center (VSC) completed action on over 44,620 claims from June 25, 2000, to June 25, 2001, which represents approximately 2.9 percent of the national C&P workload.
