What type of information is on the Internet Benefit Claim Status?
  Question

What type of information is on the Internet Benefit Claim Status?

  Answer

The Internet Benefit Claim Status will show you when your application was received, if additional documents were requested (e.g., military discharge papers, W-2s, birth records, etc.), and provides the address for the office that is processing your application. You will also receive notification if a decision has been made on your claim.

If you applied for Social Security retirement, spouse's, or disability benefits you can check the status of your application now.
