Eligibility Requirements for the VI/CWT Program

• Veterans eligible for Department of Affairs Services  
• Veterans who have a stated goal of competitive employment  
• Veterans who are medically stable and cleared for work activities  
• Veterans who have an Axis 1 diagnosis (which may include substance abuse) and/or other significant barriers to employment  
• Veterans must be abstinent from drugs and alcohol for 60 days  
• Veterans must be engaged in treatment for substance abuse and/or other mental health or medical issues
