The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's education department promotes sound financial and economic decisions by the region’s households through financial literacy and economic education programs and by increasing understanding of the role and effectiveness of these programs.

Includes activities, programs, publications and videos for students and teachers, including FED 101, an interactive resource for information about the Federal Reserve System and economic education.

Visiting the New York Fed
Visitors learn about the Federal Reserve System's central banking functions and enter the New York Fed's vault to see and learn about the world's largest accumulation of gold.
Fed Challenge Competitions
Teams from high schools and colleges in the Second District, play the roles of monetary policy-makers in separate competitions.
Jr. Fed Club (grades 4-6)
The Club helps students explore the economic concepts in the New York State social studies curriculum. The program also prepares students for the state social studies exams. Over the school year, students engage in activities and projects about prices, money, careers, saving and banking. Club participation includes a trip to the New York Fed for the It's All About Your $ program.
