EEI K-12 Curriculum: Meeting California Academic Standards and More...

CIWMB realizes that through education, current waste generators will recognize the need to respect and conserve natural resources and make informed waste prevention choices. The Office of Education and the Environment (OEE), at CIWMB, is spearheading the development of an innovative curriculum which is the result of the State of California’s Education and the Environment Initiative (EEI). EEI will offer a comprehensive approach to teaching select California Academic Content Standards to mastery. With this curriculum, students will understand their relationship with the environment and add relevance to learning that is applicable to their everyday lives.
