Entrance Fee-Free National Public Lands Day
The four parks of the Southeast Utah Group; Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Hovenweep and Natural Bridges National Monuments will waive all entrance fees on Saturday, September 27, 2008 in observance of National Public Lands Day.

Fire Ban in Effect Along River Corridors
Fire restrictions are in effect along the river corridors of the Colorado and Green Rivers within Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park.

Rapids in Cataract Canyon  

Did You Know?
The highest recently recorded flow in Cataract Canyon is 114,900 cfs in 1984. However, scientists dating driftwood piles estimate that in 1884, the river may have reached 225,000 cfs.
