Office Information
The MBRFC is located in Pleasant Hill Missouri, which is just southeast of Kansas City. The office is co-located with the Weather Forecast Office at Pleasant Hill. We were formerly located in the federal building in downtown Kansas City, and moved to our new location in 1991. The Weather Forecast Office moved into the building in 1993 from its former location at Kansas City International Airport.

Staff
We have a total staff of 19 employees, including a hydrologist-in-charge, a development and operations hydrologist, 13 hydrologic forecasters, 3 hydrometeorologists, and a hydrologic technician. Office hours are 630 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Click here to find out more about staff duties.
