The recreation area has a single reservable group picnic area (above, foreground), located at Milford Beach PA. The area is open-air with some tree cover, approximately 60 x 80 ft., and is partially set off by a split-rail fence.

The reservable area has 9 picnic tables. A covered pavilion (above, background) with 8 more tables is located about 150 ft. away. The pavilion and its tables are not reservable. All persons at Milford Beach share the use of the pavilion.

Accessibility
The 9 picnic tables in the picnic area include 2 tables with extensions for wheelchair-users. Some assistance may be required to move a wheelchair over the grassy ground. Accessible parking and a covered pavilion are 150 ft. away; accessible restrooms and bathhouses are 300 ft. away.

Access Passes to the National Parks

 

Application Fees and Expanded Amenity Fees
Those using the picnic area must pay usual expanded amenity fees (formerly called recreation use fees) to enter Milford Beach, when they are collected in season. Holding a reservation and paying the fee for the picnic area does not cover the cost of picnickers entering Milford Beach.

There is no fee to apply to use the group picnic area. If the facility is available on your requested date, and your application is processed, there is a $50.00 fee to use the site. To apply, please download the application (pdf) at right, and link to PERMITS: Application Process and Cost.
