More About Us

A primary Public Affairs Office goal is educating the public about a multitude of California water issues.  In addition to meeting the Department’s public relations needs, we produce internal and external publications, participate in special events outreach activities and coordinate foreign visitor tours of State Water Project facilities.  Our water education and water safety materials are made available to schools and the public and are included in DWR displays and exhibits at events throughout the State.

Click on any of the links provided on the left to access our services and learn more about the individual branches within the Public Affairs Office.
