Description
The Community Technology Centers' Network (CTCNet) is a national membership network of community technology centers (CTCs) and other non-profits united in their commitment to provide technology access and education to underserved communities. CTCNet was founded on the recognition that in an increasingly technologically dominated society, people who are economically disadvantaged will be left further behind if they are not provided access to and training on information tools. CTCNet works with its member organizations to offer networking, capacity-building, program development, and partnership opportunities. CTCNet provides resources and advocacy to improve the quality and sustainability of CTCs and programs.
Print Resources
CTCNet produces a quarterly e-newsletter that updates members on the latest activities within the network, including member spotlights, regional highlights and recent events in the community technology field. CTCNet gathers and creates resources designed to meet CTC needs, such as best resources for program development, training curricula, and organizational management and sustainability. The Network provides an online CTC Resource Center designed to facilitate the sharing of its members’ resources, which is searchable by topic and by type. Resource categories include advocacy and civic engagement, community engagement, disability/inclusion, evaluation and strategic planning, and more.
