Description

The purpose of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD) is to improve the standards of the practice of dermatology, to stimulate the study and extend knowledge in the field of dermatology, and to promote a more general understanding of the nature and scope of services rendered by osteopathic dermatologists. AOCD is an affiliate of the American Osteopathic Association, and is dedicated to promoting the practice of osteopathic dermatology on a national level. The Foundation for Osteopathic Dermatology was founded in 2004 by the AOCD to improve the standards of the practice of Osteopathic Dermatology by raising awareness, providing public health information, conducting charitable events, and supporting research through grants and awards given to those applicants under the jurisdiction of Osteopathic Dermatology Physicians.
