Description

The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) was founded in 1972. The Society's comprises a membership of over 1,200 that include orthopaedic surgeons and allied health professionals. AOSSM is dedicated to educating health care professionals and the general public about sports medicine. The Society promotes and supports educational and research programs in sports medicine, including those concerned with fitness, as well as programs designed to advance it's knowledge in the recognition, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries.
