Description
The Nebraska Health and Human Services System is composed of three departments: the department of Health & Human Services, P.O. Box 95044, Lincoln, NE 68509, (402) 471-2306; the Department of Health & Human Services Regulation and Licensure, P.O. Box 95007, Lincoln, NE 68509, (402) 471-2133; and the Department of Health & Human Services Finance and Support, P.O. Box 95026, Lincoln, NE 68509, (402) 471-3121. Each has a director appointed by the Governor. The Policy Secretary, also appointed by the Governor, chairs the Policy Cabinet which consists the three directors of the departments and the chief medical officer. The cabinet sets policy for the three departments.
