Description

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) represents over 7,500 gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other digestive health specialists who are committed to furthering their knowledge and training of endoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) disease and conditions. ASGE is recognized as the premier specialty society dedicated to educating its physician members in the appropriate use of endoscopic techniques and GI related medical advancements. ASGE's Foundation funds GI endoscopy research and public education regarding the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive disorders. When choosing ASGE Endoscopist patients are assured the physician has met a rigorous screening process to make certain he or she is knowledgeable and experienced expert in gastroenterology, GI surgery and gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures. Visit the ASGE Web site at www.asge.org to access patient education materials on endoscopic procedures or to find an ASGE Endoscopist in your area.
