Description
The Guttmacher Institute advances sexual and reproductive health in the United States and globally through an interrelated program of social science research, idea generation, public education and policy analysis. This multilayered program seeks to enlighten public debate, promote sound policy and program development, and ultimately ensure that people everywhere have the information and services they need to make good sexual and reproductive health choices. The Institute's nearly four decades of experience demonstrates that scientific evidence - when reliably collected and analyzed, compellingly presented and systematically disseminated - can make a difference in policies, programs and medical practice.
