In a medical study of 11,426 teens, almost 18 percent indicated they drank alcohol at least once per month. About 10 percent said they drank alcohol at least once per week.

Many parents find these statistics alarming. Our Teen Alcohol Use Calculator can help you assess your teen's likelihood of early alcohol use. The answer can help you educate your teen about the consequences of early alcohol use.

This test should be used only as a guideline and is based on information found in the National Longitudinal Study on Adolescent Health.
