State, Territorial, and Local Agencies and Tribal Governments
CDC's Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) supports
state,
territorial, and local agencies and tribal governments to help build and strengthen their
capacity to improve child and adolescent health.
National Nongovernmental Organizations
Capacity-Building Assistance
DASH supports 23 national nongovernmental
organizations (NGOs) to provide capacity-building assistance (CBA) to education agencies,
health agencies, community-based organizations, institutions of
higher education, organizations that serve youth and parents,
organizations that serve youth at high risk for HIV infection, and DASH
Funded NGOs.
Other Cooperative Agreements
DASH also supports seven nongovernmental organizations in collaboration
with the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
and other Centers at CDC under
collaborative cooperative agreements.
