Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
The 2005 hurricane season has left countless individuals and families displaced and without basic resources. The stress that comes from facing a natural disaster is extremely difficult for all affected. In response to the obstacles faced by hurricane survivors, this information sheet was compiled to provide a list of strategies and resources relevant to the Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder community. While these recent natural disasters gave rise to the development of this resource, many of them can be helpful when faced with any natural disaster or extraordinary stress.
