Academic Excellence Program - increase the diversity of those
     students receiving bachelor's degrees in engineering, math
     and science. ACE provides discussion sections in entry-level
     mathematics and calculus, general and organic chemistry,
     general biology and genetics, and calculus based physics.
     The program was awarded the U.S. Presidential Award for
     Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering
     Mentoring.
California Alliance for Minority Participation - support and retain
     ethnically underrepresented undergraduates to achieve their
     degrees in the biological sciences, physical sciences,
     mathematics, and engineering
UC College Prep Initiative - UCCP develops and      distributes high-quality courses and course content to      benefit California students, with a special emphasis on      helping underserved students prepare for college      eligibility.

     students with the opportunity to receive an in-depth
     experience in the academic and experimental aspects of
