Our numbers of subscribers to the list is now in the 800s, so I thank all of
you for getting the word out about the NIFL-Family listserv. We continue to
grow.

Lately, I have had several requests to unsubscribe, so I think it may be
time to send out some gentle reminders again.

I. There are two ways to unsubscribe yourself:
Send an e-mail to: listproc@literacy.nifl.gov
In the message (be sure there are NO other words or graphics in the
message), type the following message (FROM THE OLD E-MAIL ADDRESS):
unsubscribe nifl-family
OR
Subscribing and unsubscribing to/from a list can also be performed on the
World Wide Web. Go to:
	http://www.nifl.gov/forums.html
and select the “Unsubscribe to Listservs” link.
If you continue to have trouble unsubscribing, then please notify me, not
the list, and I will help you further. <nsledd@famlit.org>

II. When someone puts an announcement on the list about a conference, or
new publications, etc, please respond to the e-mail or address in that
message, not to the entire list. Be sure when you hit "reply," you want
everyone on the list to read that message.

III. Thanks to ALL of you for making this one of the best NIFL lists. You
all share your knowledge and expertise in such a helpful way, and I
appreciate it! I also appreciate your interest and passion for family
literacy. The beauty is, we KNOW family literacy works to bring positive
changes in families and the parents' lives. Keep up the good work. And,
share your "successes" and "strengths" with us on the list. Inquiring minds
want to know what works.
