Chloe, thanks for helping me out on this one! I was in a program all day
today, and just came back in to the office, read this message, and was
typing in my response when your message came up! You gave great directions!

May I add, if y'all (all of you) ever have any trouble getting unsubscribed
or need my assistance with anything on the list, please just send me a
message to MY e-mail address <nsledd@famlit.org>, and I will gladly help you
as soon as I can get to my computer.

Dear D. Gates,

Pardon me for butting in but since you posted your request to the entire
list
rather than to the moderator, it seems that I'm free to respond to you. I'm
sure that the moderator of this list will comply with your request.
Meanwhile, I thought I might mention to you that perhaps your request has
gone unanswered to this point because you sent your request to the wrong
place.

When all of us first subscribe to the list we received a list of
instructions
we were advised to keep. Every listserv in the world sends out such a list
of
instructions and advises its members to keep it for future reference. In
fact, the moderator for this listserv just sent out the instructions to all
of us again on January 5 of this year. The instructions have specific
instructions within for how to unsubscribe to the list. It's easy enough to
do. Perhaps you should take some responsibility rather than getting so angry
and swearing about something someone didn't do for you when you are
perfectly
capable of and expected to do for yourself.

I've copied the instructions for you below. there are two easy options to
chose from:

UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THE LIST:

You may remove yourself from this list by selecting the unsubscribe button
on the left side of the Family Discussion list page at:
http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/discussions/nifl-family/family_literacy.html
and following the instruction.

OR

by sending an e-mail to:
  LISTPROC@LITERACY.NIFL.GOV

In the body of the message, enter your request as follows:
unsubscribe NIFL-Family

There should be no other text in the message. Again, leave the subject
blank if possible with your e-mail client.

Cheers,
A fellow list member
