Good afternoon,

The ERIC Clearinghouse on Adult, Career, and Vocational Education has just
published three new Myths and Realities.

Andragogy Revisited: Theory for the 21st Century? by Ralf St. Clair (no.
19) (http://ericacve.org/docgen.asp?tbl=mr&id=109) examines the viability
of andragogy in the 21st century by considering its background and asking
which aspects of the theory are still useful more than 30 years after it
was introduced by Malcolm Knowles.

Equity in Career and Technical Education by Michael E. Wonacott (no. 20)
(http://ericacve.org/docgen.asp?tbl=mr&id=110) reviews the issue of equity
in career and technical education (CTE).

Teaching Adults: Is It Different? (no. 21)
(http://ericacve.org/docgen.asp?tbl=mr&id=111) by Sandra Kerka takes a
look at assumptions, research, and opinions regarding myths and realities
associated with the teaching of adults.

In addition to availability in HTML and PDF on our website, the
publications are available in paper, as e-mail messages, and as PDF
attachments. They are free and can be requested at ericacve@osu.edu. Be
sure to indicate the format you prefer and include your mailing address if
requesting paper copies. Again, send your requests to ericacve@osu.edu.

Subscribers to ERICACVE (http://ericacve.org/listserv.asp) have already
received them.

Thanks.

Judy
