The Brooklyn Public Library Learning Centers have large collections of
novels for our adult learners. WE would be happy to share some suggestions
with you. susan k. o'connor

I am also looking for such books. I searched the web yesterday and came
up with some possibilities, but I know that those books written
specifically for low literate adults are often not well written.
Librarians often suggest reading award-winning early adolescent books.
I have recently read and enjoyed: Hachet, Holes, and Bud, Not Buddy.
All Newbery winners.
