There is also a publication called Growing Child which is published in
Lafayette, IN that sounds like it may be on the same order.  Subscriptions
are available for each month from birth to 6 years, offer developmental
information, and are paired with a newsletter called Growing Parent and a
calendar of suggested activities for parents to do with their children.
(They also have newsletters for parents for kindergarten to 12th grade
students that can be purchased in book form and copied and sent out to
parents--one or two per month during the school year.  I used these
newsletters with parents of school age children who were enrolled in our
Even Start program.  They seemed to appreciate them!)
