3rd Annual Sunrise 5K Run/Walk or 10K Run 
at Petrified Forest National Park

Want to watch the sunrise over the Painted Desert while getting in your morning exercise? Join us for a 5K run/walk or 10K run along the rim of the Painted Desert at Petrified Forest National Park!

Pre-registration fee is $15 until August 2. After August 2, the fee goes up to $20. Make checks payable to Petrified Forest Museum Association. Registration includes a free t-shirt and entry in a drawing for a Petrified Forest National Park serigraph poster ($37.50 value).

You can also register during sign-in on August 16. Sign-in is 4:30-5:15 a.m. at the entrance gate to Petrified Forest’s north entrance (I-40, Exit 311). Race begins at 5:30 a.m. sharp!

Only registered participants will be able to enter the park before 7:00 a.m. when the park opens to the general public.

All proceeds go towards further rehabilitation efforts at the Painted Desert Inn National Historic Landmark.
