Cultural Demonstration Program
The park hosts regional cultural demonstrators throughout the summer and at various times throughout the year, including March for Arizona Archeology and Heritage Month and November for National American Indian Heritage Month.

Science Day Camps
In June and July 2008 Archeology and Palentology Day Camps were sponsored by Petrified Forest National Park and the Holbrook School District. Participants explored the park with scientists, learning about the natural and cultural resources while assisting in the collection of data, including archeological site surveys and fossil excavations.
