On August 27, 2008, Lyndon B. Johnson would have celebrated his 100th birthday. In honor of this centennial milestone, LBJ National Historical Park and other LBJ-affiliated partners have planned events to help you learn about our nation's 36th President. A highlight will be the opening of the President's office at the Texas White House on August 27.

Climate

Overall, the park enjoys a sunny, mild climate during three seasons of the year. The rainy month is usually April. Winter temperatures are usually in the 50s; snow and ice are rare. Summer temperatures can exceed 100 degrees in July and August, with high humidity.
