Volunteers from the community across the state who are infected with, affected by, or at risk for HIV/AIDS are invited to participate on the Hawai‘i HIV/AIDS Community Planning Group (CPG). This committee of 28 members meets regularly. There are similar committees in every state in the country. The CPG helps the STD/AIDS Prevention Branch determine priorities for both prevention and care services delivered in the community.
