Phase I - Assessing, Evaluating, and Calibrating Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) and Vehicle Classification (VC) Systems

The objectives for this phase of the pooled-fund study are to verify that the WIM and VC systems at the SPS sites are operating at peak performance and to document the reliability of the data being collected. Where WIM and/or VC systems are not meeting the performance requirements, the Contractor for this phase must identify the problem(s) and recommend a solution to resolve the problem(s). The solution must have supporting rationale as to why it is recommended as a corrective action for getting reliable data from the site.
