Corrosion Hands-On Training

The Materials Research and Engineering Laboratory, from time to time, presents a one-day Corrosion Hands-On Training session. The next session is scheduled for October 30, 2008.

The course features instruction and hands-on training in corrosion inspection and cathodic protection maintenance and testing. It is intended for those who perform maintenance and inspection of metallic structures and for those who will be testing the cathodic protection systems installed on any buried or submerged metal work.

The training will be held at the Denver Federal Center, Building 56, Room 1730, and is limited to 30 participants.  Class will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008. Tuition is $500, and the registration deadline is Friday, October 10, 2008.

Reclamation employees should register though DOI LEARN. (Use the key word “Corrosion” when searching the catalog.) Payment is made by providing your cost authority number during the registration process.
