Safe
drinking water is a major concern following a flood or high
water.
Iowa
State University Extension reminds you to watch for signs
of unsafe well water. If your well has been flooded or if
you see cloudiness, dirt or particles in tap water, your well
may need to be disinfected.
If you
have questions, call your local Extension office. Extension
also has free publications about drinking water precautions.
This
message comes to you from Iowa State University Extension's
SAFE FARM program, to make Iowa farms a safe place to work
and live.
