Do you
work in windy weather, around a dusty grain elevator, or in
a livestock lot? Does dust bother you? Do you sometimes get
colds or have allergy problems after working around dust?
Then
you might need to wear a respirator. Special gear is always
needed when working around pesticides and toxic products.
It's also needed for some dusty conditions, too.
Any
time you're around grain dust, molds, pollen, animal dander,
dirt, welding fumes or diesel exhaust, you should consider
wearing an air-purifying respirator. Long-term exposure to
dusty conditions can cause serious health problems.
Find
out whether you need to wear a respirator.
