The Nuclear Material Detection and Characterization (NMDC) Group within the Nuclear Science and Technology Division (NSTD) of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) works in a wide range of topics in radiation detection and measurement.  Our focus is on the development and evaluation of advanced detector and non-destructive evaluation concepts for national and homeland security organizations, the nuclear weapons complex, the basic physics research community, and the neutron science research community.
