Community Health Outreach Workers (CHOW)

CHOW meetings, sponsored by the HIV/AIDS Program of Public Health - Seattle & King County, are for outreach workers and other line staff who interact with low-income people who are at risk for or have substance use/abuse problems. The goal of the CHOW meeting is to provide trainings and discussions that will improve and support your work in the community. Trainings include topics that focus on HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, referrals and services.

Parking for CHOW Meetings:
Please do not park in the lower level parking lot. These spaces are for Lifelong AIDS Alliance staff, clients and volunteers. Metered street parking is available in the surrounding area or find a Metro bus to take you there.
Cell phones and pagers: During meetings, please turn off cell phones and pagers or put them on silent or vibrate before the meetings begin. This will avoid distracting presenters and attendees during presentations.
