GREGG COUNTY MAN SENTENCED FOR DEALING COCAINE

(TYLER, TX) United States Attorney Rebecca a. Gregory announced today that a 25-year-old Longview man has been sentenced to 36 months in federal prison for drug trafficking in the Eastern District of Texas. 

BRYAN DURELL LYNCH pleaded guilty on February 15, 2008 to possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine and was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison today by United States District judge Leonard E. Davis.

            According to information presented in court, an investigation began in May 2007 into the distribution of cocaine in East Texas by Lynch and a co-defendant.  Lynch was indicted on November 6, 2007 and charged with drug trafficking charges.

            This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Longview Police Department and the Gregg County Sheriff's Office and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Richard L. Moore.
