Emergency Information

The Beaumont USAO is closed Monday September 22nd because of Hurricane Ike but will re-open on Tuesday September 23rd .

Update Sunday 9/21/2008 1:00 pm: Power is on to the Beaumont office and Federal building. Beaumont water is now drinkable. Curfew is 11 pm to 5 am

Update Friday 9/19/2008 2:03 pm from Brit Featherston:

Office Opening Expectation:

Assuming the office has power by Sunday,  and the evacuation mandate has been lifted, then the office will open for business on Tuesday 9:00a.  Assuming all this has taken place and your home does not have power or you have a special circumstance that makes it problematic to return to work, call Kirk, Kerry or myself on Monday at the office.

If the office is still without power on Monday or the mandatory evacuation has not been lifted, then we will continue on a day by day review of the power or evacuation situation.  For example, if the evacuation and power becomes workable on Monday, then we will open the office on Wednesday.
