New York: An American Capital
Exhibit Opening: December 14 - 17, 2006
As part of a special event, the exhibit opening featured a limited viewing of the original New York Ratification of the U.S. Bill of Rights. This was the first time since 1790 that this document had been in New York. The original has since been returned to the National Archives in Washington, DC. A facsimile of the New York Ratification document is still on exhibit. Read more about the document and see a digital image here
