Partnerships and products

  • Partnered with the Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) program which recruited and trained 230 dentists and clinics in 3 counties between July 2002 and June 2006 to see  Medicaid-eligible children from birth through age five.   ABCD focuses on preventive and restorative dental care for children with an emphasis on the first dental visit by age one.

  • 1,020 community staff members and parents were trained on maternal depression and maternal-child oral health issues

  • Produce the Oral Health “Red Flags” toolkit.

  • Produced educational videos for parents in eight languages called, "Well Child Checks and the Importance of Baby Teeth."
