Trichomonas Infection

(Trichomoniasis)

Trichomonas (TRICK-oh-MOE-nass) infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases. Women may have no symptoms or may be very symptomatic, while most men who are infected do not have symptoms. Trichomonas infection is treatable but the infected person and their sexual partner(s) should be treated to avoid reinfection.
