The GEO Spatial Data Library provides GIS datasets, listed alphabetically by theme, for download.
Metadata is provided and files are available
in a variety of formats. Many have graphic previews. The library includes Orthoimagery and scanned USGS quads.

DIGITAL ORTHOPHOTO QUADS
A digital orthophoto quadrangle (DOQ) is a computer-generated image of an aerial photograph in which image displacement caused by terrain relief and camera tilt has been removed. It combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. Get DOQs
DIGITAL ELEVATION MODEL FILES
Digital Elevation Model (DEM) files consist of a sampled array of elevations for a number of ground positions at regularly spaced intervals. DEMs are made available in: "raw" source (ascii) files. DEM Data Acquisition
