The Glacier Natural History Association (GNHA) is a nonprofit cooperating association of the National Park Service. GNHA helps to support Glacier National Park's educational, interpretive, cultural and scientific program needs. Support is generated by sales at bookstores in visitor centers and ranger stations located throughout the Park, in addition to our website bookstore and annual membership program. We offer a variety of publications and materials which promote a better understanding of Glacier's diversity of landscapes, animal and plant life, culture, and history.

Historic Belton Depot
Most early visitors to Glacier National Park arrived by train. With the arrival of the automobile, the Belton Depot and the railroads waned in importance.

Today the depot once again plays an important role. It is the headquarters for the Glacier Natural History Association. Received as a donation from the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1991, the depot was renovated with attention to the cultural history and significance of its original use. It now houses the Association’s main offices, warehouse, and a bookstore open Monday through Friday.

Visit the Glacier Natural History Association at the Historic Belton Depot in West Glacier, Montana.
