Trainings for providers, CBOs and community advocates

Kids Get Care (KGC) has staff available to train staff of Community Based Organizations (CBOs), and community advocates on the importance of preventive health care for children and how to screen for major health indicators within physical, oral and developmental domains. The goal of these trainings is to help participants become more aware of "red-flags" in the infants and children with whom they work. This allows for early detection and intervention for any problems identified. These children are then connected to a health care home for the provision of ongoing preventive and treatment services.

Trainings are free and range from 30 to 120 minutes. Please schedule sessions well in advance of your event to ensure availability of a Health Educator. Preference is given to larger groups.
