Helping Veterans in VA Facilities To Vote

"VA has always been committed to helping veterans exercise their constitutional right to vote, which they defended for all Americans while serving their nation," said Dr. James B. Peake, Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

VA will help patients in a hospital, domiciliary or VA community living center register and vote this fall. Absentee voting will be available for patients unable to leave a facility.

Voluntary Service Managers at VA Medical Centers have information and materials for patients receiving care at their facility. Remember, it's your right to vote, and VA wants to make sure your voice is heard.
