GOVERNOR PRESENTS SILVER AWARD IN VENTURING

December 18 - Governor Lingle presented the Venturing Silver Award to Leslie Osborn.  The Silver Award, the highest award in Venturing, is equivalent to the rank of Eagle Scout.

The Governor congratulated Leslie for her accomplishment, as well as her commitment to Venturing.  She also recognized the important influence Leslie's parents and other Scouting leaders have had in shaping Leslie into a confident young woman.

Leslie, a senior at Kalaheo High School, is the first person in the state to win the award.
