GOVERNOR LEADS MARCH OF DIMES 37TH ANNUAL WALKAMERICA

April 14 - "This is about our keiki, their families and giving them a good life," Governor Lingle said at the 37th March of Dimes WalkAmerica.  "We want them to get through the first weeks of their lives so they have the opportunity to experience the joy and challenges of life," she added.

The Governor and community leaders led a file-mile walk, one of five being held around the state in March and April, in support of the March of Dimes' mission to prevent birth defects and infant mortality.
