MAUI FAMILY YMCA HOSTS ANNUAL MEETING

April 12 - Governor Lingle delivered keynote remarks at the Maui Family YMCA annual meeting, where she shared the positive impact of the YMCA on families and communities and emphasized the key role it plays in promoting healthy habits and lifestyles.  The Maui Family YMCA serves 12,000 participants each year through programs that foster growth in spirit, mind and body, including the Physical Education Program (PEP). PEP provides one full-time resource instructor and funding for each school to conduct daily fitness instruction.
