GOVERNOR HONORS HAWAI`I AIR NATIONAL GUARD

March 4 - Governor Lingle honored the men and women of the Hawai`i Air National Guard for their leadership, job performance, community involvement, and self-improvement at the annual Launa `Ole awards ceremony.  "We enjoy freedom and the ability to make choices for ourselves because of your work to keep our nation free," Governor Lingle said.  "Thank you for your work to make certain that these privileges remain for the people of America."  Governor Lingle, who serves as the Hawai`i National Guard's Commander-in-Chief, joined the State Adjutant General, Major General Robert Lee, in presenting awards to the honorees.
