GOVERNOR ATTENDS 6TH ANNUAL KOREAN FESTIVAL

July 14 - "Hawai`i's relationship with Korea is critical to our future and economic vitality," Governor Lingle said at the 6th Annual Korean Festival.

While at the festival, the Governor met with members of the community, including veterans of the Korean War and doctors of the Korean American Medical Association of Hawai`i, who tested the Governor's blood pressure.

The event was produced by the Hawai`i Korean Chamber of Commerce and brought together businesses, community groups, and individual volunteers to celebrate the contributions and unique culture of Koreans in Hawai`i.
