- NIOSH-Issued
NIOSH has withdrawn the previously posted, undated User Notice alleging misleading advertising by Structural Composites Industries (SCI) for its replacement SCBA cylinders. NIOSH did not intend for that Notice to be interpreted to imply that SCI cylinders were unsafe. Instead, it was the intent of NIOSH to provide information regarding the use of replacement or spare parts for NIOSH-approved respirators. NIOSH is posting a User Notice Regarding Replacement and Spare Parts to provide that information. (May 07, 2007)
