Requiring adequate assurances that the guaranty agency will not
engage in any pattern or practice which results in a denial of a borrower's access to
loans under this part because of the borrower's race, sex, color, religion, national
origin, age, disabled status, income, attendance at a particular
eligible institution within the area served by the guaranty agency, length of the
borrower's educational program, or the borrower's academic year in school.
- Federal Family Education Loan Program,
20 U.S.C. § 1087-1(e)(3)
Special allowance payments for loans financed by proceeds of tax- exempt
obligations. Prohibits denial of a borrower's access to loans under this part
because of the borrower's race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age,
handicapped status, income, attendance at a particular eligible institution within the
area served by the Authority, length of the borrower's educational program, or the
borrower's academic year in school.
- Higher Education Amendments of 1992, 20

Providing insurance assistance to historically black institutions.
Prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or
disability.
- Higher Education Amendments of 1998, 20
U.S.C. § 1011
Student aid funds to higher education institutions. Prohibits involvement
in programs or contracts with discriminatory provisions barring students on the basis of
race, national origin, sex, or religion.
- Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C.
§ 1652
Funds for transportation of students. Cannot be used to remedy racial
imbalance or to carry out court order of desegregation. Prohibits discrimination on
the basis of race, national origin, color, or religion.
- Education Amendments of 1974, 20 U.S.C.
§ 1703
Equal educational opportunities in all public schools, whether Federally funded
or not. Prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, color, sex,
or language.
- Equal Access Act, 20 U.S.C. § 4071
Prohibits restriction by recipient schools of limited open forum on the bases
of religion, or political, philosophical, or other speech content.
- Improving America's Schools Act of 1994,
20 U.S.C. § 7602
Applies to any Federally assisted education program. Prohibits exclusion
of students on the bases of surname or language-minority status.
